You will never know what you can find in the big flickr picture collection. Today talkaboutnseries.com has “accidentally” found a list of unannounced model, including the Nokia N85 we reported earlier on.


These are actually a good and clear leak, although there isn’t any description put together with the photos. The Nokia N79 looks like another 3G phone from Nokia, coms with a Carl Zeiss camera lens (the megapixel wording is too blur for us to determine). 2 flash LEDs will help you in low light photography, the camera lens is protected by a lens cover too.


The next leak is the familiar Nokia “tube”, the new S60 touch UI which is available in year 2009. It should be the first S60 touch UI phone from Nokia and will be featuring a wide screen with 16:9 ratio. It will support quad band network, come with built in bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, HSDPA/UTMS to give you a complete wireless package. The touch UI in this prototype do not support multitouch, but does have haptic feedback when you touch the screen.

This model is called Nokia 5800 XpressMedia according to flickr, you can also see a 3.2 megapixel camera at its back with auto focus capability. It will be on its way to Vodafone customer, probably for users in Europe.

Someone has sent Engadget an unknown Nokia NSeries slider phone with N00 model number stamped on the phone. It is told to be the Nokia N85, which comes with a 5 megapixel camera, GPS, 2 flash LED behind and a secondary video call camera.


It is still not confirmed that this model to be called N85, it will be better to put it as N00 fo now. check out next page for more photos.

Just few days after AllAboutNGage revealed the current N-Gage policy, which only allows you to install the purchased game on single phone, Nokia has released an official statement that they will apply a fix to the current situation and eventually allows you to transfer your purchased license to other phones.

“We have noticed a number of media stories about N-Gage game transfers and wanted to clarify the issue. Due to copy protection, N-Gage games, like most mobile games, are linked to one device. As the value of content increases, a robust copy protection mechanism is essential as it makes it possible for the games industry to invest in N-Gage content.

We acknowledge our customers’ concerns and have been working on a solution that would allow people to transfer purchased N-Gage games to a new Nokia device. We are working with our Nokia Care Centers with an intermediate solution to enable the licensed transfers of games until a final solution is ready to be deployed.

We apologise for the confusion around this issue and look forward to delivering an appropriate solution to transfer purchased N-Gage games to new Nokia devices.”

Rogers Wireless launched Nokia 5310 XpressMusic on its network, becoming the first North American carrier to pick up the device. The bar phone sits in the mid range of Nokia’s media phones and includes a column of dedicated music controls as well as a media player that supports AAC, MP3, and WMA; an FM radio tuner is also onboard, as is a microSD slot that holds up to 4GB of storage.

The phone is reportedly available today with blue trim and sells for $100 Canadian with a three-year plan or for $260 without the contract in place.

The Nokia E71 has been waiting for months to be announced. The Nokia E71 is a device that a lot of businessman and women are waiting for. The announcement of the Nokia E71 is planned at May 8 matches the webshops because the device can be found in several Dutch webshops already, complete with her specifications. That’s why we know that the size of the E71 will be 112 x 57 x 10 mm and that the device is good at data connections. The device will namely offer GPRS, UMTS, HSDPA and WiFi support, so checking your business e-mail will take place on top speed.

Nokia-owned file-sharing site MOSH has just announced that it's releasing 'over 800' games for free at sg.mosh.nokia.mobi - 'free' in this case meaning 'sponsored', which in turn means that each of the (Java) games have one or more adverts inserted into their startup and closedown routines.

‘People First’, ‘Zero Waste Charger’, ‘Wear in, not out’ – no these are not titles of upcoming obscure Hollywood ventures but are the new concept phones from Nokia that would become a reality sometime in the near future. In the first ever Nokia ‘Design Event’ in its new studio in Central London, several concepts were unveiled. ‘People First’ could be dubbed a call log file. It keeps the records of all your communications by keeping a list of people you interact with based on your last communication with the said person.

The ‘Zero Waste Charger’ is all about power saving. The charger will be activated only after you push a button on the charger and it will automatically shut down after an hour when it is dictated to do so by a built-in timer. The ultimate goal of Nokia is to build a charger that would automatically interact with the mobile phone – turning on the charging process only when the phone needs power.

‘Wear in, not out’ is the most confusing concept from Nokia. It is not clear what Nokia means by the device exploring ‘how people could potentially upgrade their devices digitally rather than physically’. The release from Nokia says that this concept will give people an additional choice on how they use and update their mobile phones.

Nokia N78 in pearl white color has been spotted on Nokia online store for Spain(after Nokia music store for Australia) . The Nokia N78 has integrated A-GPS, with free Nokia Maps, WLAN and high-speed HSPDA 3G connectivity, a 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, and support for microSD memory card.Although it is listed on the online store product list, it is currently not available for order yet. When available, it will be sold at around 419 euro.

The Nokia N82 has been awarded the ‘Best Mobile Imaging Device in Europe 2008′ by TIPA (Technical Image Press Association). Taking advantage of its integrated A-GPS functionality and high resolution camera, the Nokia N82 automatically geotags images with capture location metadata, making it possible to view the capture location on a map either on the Internet or on the device itself. When it comes to sharing, people can upload their pictures or videos directly from their Nokia N82 to services like Share on Ovi, Flickr or YouTube.


“The Nokia N82 is a compact multimedia computer that integrates GPS, web, video and music functions around a 5 Megapixel camera with a high-speed, f/2.8 autofocus lens,” the TIPA jurors said. “This Carl Zeiss Tessar focuses from 10cm to infinity and produces sharp prints up to and beyond A4 size. Several scene modes are also available to optimize the Nokia N82 for great images, whether shooting portraits or night shots,” TIPA continued. Other Nokia N82 features highlighted by the jurors are the Xenon flash and 20X digital zoom.

The features of the Nokia N82 include:

Sony BMG has officially joined Nokia to offer music content on Nokia music store. People who buy a Nokia Comes With Music device will have a year of access to the SONY BMG rich catalog of music. Consumers will be able to download tracks to both their mobile device and computer through the Nokia Music Store during the first twelve months that they own their Nokia device.

At the end of the one year period, they can keep their downloaded tracks and, should they purchase a new compatible device or computer, they can transfer their downloaded material by substituting their new device or computer for the original devices. Comes With Music is expected to launch in the second half of 2008 on a range of Nokia devices in selected markets.

Nokia Australia opened the doors of its Nokia Music Store today. With a single account, Australian music lovers can access the Nokia Music Store via their personal computer or directly from their optimised Nokia devices including the Nokia N95 8GB, Nokia N81 8GB and the N82.

In addition, the ability to sync from a PC is available on a wider range of Nokia models including the latest Xpress Music handets, Nokia 5610 and Nokia 5310. Tracks purchased can also be transferred via your PC to compatible Nokia devices. The music collection can then simply be synchronised between the PC and a mobile using Windows Media Player 11.

Individual tracks will cost 1.70 Australian dollars per track and albums from 17.00 Australian dollars. The Nokia Music Store will also offer a monthly subscription for PC users to stream an unlimited number of full length tracks for 10.00 Australian dollars per month.

Goldstriker has unveiled the upgraded version of the Nokia 8800 Arte 24ct Gold prepared for the releasing on May 1.

Nokia is giving away 15000 copies of free N-Gage Fifa 2008 licenses. No official announcement though, but you can follow the instruction on Symbian web blog to activate the free license.
